Glenn Polk Autoplex - Your Gainesville New & Used Car Dealership

Glenn Polk began in the car business over 36 years ago while on vacation from his job in the electrical business. Glenn sold cars for a week and enjoyed it so much and did so well he decided to quit the electrical business and go into selling cars on a full time basis.

In 1995 Glenn Polk Ford & Mercury was opened. The dealership consisted of a 22,000 square foot building and a four-acre parking lot with 168 vehicles to choose from. Today Glenn Polk Autoplex consists of two 30,000 square foot buildings and over 10 acres of new and used vehicles.

Glenn's eldest son, Trent (pictured right), began in the car business after completing a degree in marketing from Stephen F. Austin University in 1993. Trent is currently the General Manager overseeing the daily operations and all marketing tasks.

Glenn's youngest son, Shawn (pictured left), began parking cars at the dealership at just 10 years of age. During High School Shawn worked in the make ready department. Immediately after graduation Shawn began selling full time. Later Shawn established the Internet department and has since been promoted to Sales Manager.
